Happy New Year

I'm here in my room watching the fireworks with my siblings.

2012 will be an awesome year!! :'D

Friday, 30 December 2011

Wow, it's the last day of 2011

Seriously, I didn't know it is December 31 already.

I don't know what should I do this 2012. Maybe just go with things. Gah.

30 Day Challenge: DAY 27

Day 27: Top Five Most Annoying Things About Yourself

1. I often fail to read and observe carefully.

2. I don't have a lasting commitment to do things.

3. I am easily frustrated with everything.

4. I sometimes whine about everything online.

5. My face and my presence.

An Irrelevant Skyrim Post

Hello.

I've been playing Skyrim for three days now. My Breton character, Weever, is now level 22.
I turned him into a cross between an archer, a thief and a mage (conjurer and destroyer (think FF black mage) to be specific).

I've accomplished the ff. from the quests:
-I completed the Fus-Ro-Dah shout.
-I acquired a new shout and an upgrade for the Whirlwind Sprint shout.
-I killed a vampire that is a threat to a town ruled by an insane jarl.
-I became a bard.
-I got three Daedric (ethereal being) items.
-I went to jail out of investigating a murder.
-I saved a Redguard woman from being captured.

Derp.

Bye.

Monday, 26 December 2011

I'm positive that I'm not alone on this one.

There are movies or games where there are characters that I seem to dislike when I first see them because I think they're not like they're supposed to be in the movie but as it progresses, I start to like him or her or even fall in love for being such a likable character.

I couldn't recall which other movies I experienced them but recently, I saw Mission Impossible and fell in love with Brandt.

What other movies have you experienced this?

30 Day Challenge: DAY 26

Day 26: Top 5 useful inventions

1. Cyber Clean High Tech Cleaning Compound
I swear to God, this is a brilliant and very useful invention. It cleans from the inside and the outside. It smells good too.

2. The Internet
What would the world be without the internet?

3. The games (and their consoles)
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

4. Pr0n
Enuff said. Here's a picture of a sexy potato.

5. The iPod/MP3 players
Portable music on the go!

An abridged list of stuff I cannot wait for 2012 (Part 1?)

1. The Hobbit
I am a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings franchise but I have not read any of the books, just watched the films. Since I am quite new to shipping characters, I might as well do some when I get to watch it.

2. Madonna's new song and new album
L-U-V Madonna! The new song "Gimme All Your Luvin" will come out next month and will be a collaboration with Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. She is set to perform it at the Super Bowl on February with Cirque du Soleil. I bet it's gonna be another huge milestone for her in her almost 30-year old career and the new album will be produced by William Orbit (the mastermind behind her magnum opus, Ray of Light).

3. The Dark Knight Rises (not the Avengers)
What will happen to Batman in this last chapter of the Nolan Batman trilogy? Will Anne Hathaway be terrific as Catwoman? How will Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon Levitt's characters turn out? All will be revealed next summer.

4. SOUL CALIBUR V
I am a huge fan of Soul Calibur ever since I started playing Soul Blade in my cousin's PS1. I've played the first Soul Calibur on the arcade and the rest of the games in console. I hope the story will be well-written since it will focus on Sophitia's children, Patroklos and Pyrrha and the setting will be 17 years after the events of the 4th game. I can't wait to use the new characters and the new character creation is sick. Lastly, Ezio is a guest character.

5. Ni no Kuni
Studio Ghibli collaborates with Level-5 games to make an RPG for the PS3 and the DS. HOW COOL IS THAT???? Fuck yes, a dream come true.

I'm trying to forgot all the sad things.

I hope everyone will be happy now that Christmas is approaching. For those who don't feel Christmas as much as I do, let's turn it into a day where everyone is happy no matter what happens and while we're at it, let's continue to be happy from then on. Sounds difficult? Let's make it a challenge!

Loneliness

Something I've been facing all the time.

I'm an introvert, yes, but sometimes I have moments where I wish someone was there by my side to listen to my feelings. I also need someone to cling to.

I feel like people would be annoyed if I talk to them about my problems so I would reach it out to everyone. It works, but there are consequences. People have already looked at me differently and it really bothers me.
I think it's my fault that things are happening today. Everything bad happening between the people I love could be of my own doing.

Self-inflicting thoughts

I don't wanna further elaborate on these thoughts that have existed since things are starting to bother me. I want this out of my system.

I hope everything will be better tomorrow.

It feels like a large part of my freedom has been taken away.

I failed another subject and guess what happened. My parents are forcing me to deactivate my Facebook account. I also need to do it so I won't be distracted for long. I'm not allowed to linger around school after class unless there's a project meetup. I'm also not allowed to go to any org-related activity.

I thought this was a one shot kill to pass everything in this term. If I'm going to evaluate myself, I did a lot better than the rest of the previous terms. It's just that I don't expect myself to improve greatly but I promised myself to work harder and it did pay off. There's always this one subject that I fail every term. It's a fucking spiral of death. I think it's hard for me and everybody if we are going through the same phase.

(Blanche, 2011)

Twenty

I know I shouldn't post something like this. It's just that I want to reflect on my life and I'm still not used to being labeled as an "adult".

I am two decades old. I just turned twenty last Monday. Before that happened, I kind of thought about what Tiff told me many months before that when we commuted together. She said something about she and Steph planning to do a lot of things before they turn twenty. I thought of mine but I think I wasn't able to do much. I spent a lot of time in front of the computer. It was pretty disappointing, but on the bright side, I was able to learn many things in life and I made a lot of people happy and some I left disappointed.

Since I'm no longer a teenager, I now think about what am I going to do next? I also wonder how people are going to treat me now that I'm an adult. I still don't feel that way because I'm a young person at heart. I keep convincing myself that I am a 17 year old. When I look at other people my age, and they look different from what they used to be, I feel very insecure. The way I feel about it is when they act and look more mature than I am and I think people, including me, like that in them. I also look at some people slightly younger than me who act too maturely for their age. What I mean is that they can decide for themselves and they have boundless freedom, yet they still have their flaws.

At times, I get angry over my failures. My parents would always tell me to stop doing that and that I still have a long way to go. I'm still afraid of looking at myself ten years from now. I ask myself with questions like "will I be able to get a decent job?" or "how am I going to live my life if I have nothing else to do?".

I don't know how to conclude this entry but I believe everything will just fall into place. I just have to do my part and learn from my mistakes.

Plans for vacation

+Go to QC Sports and exhaust my body from physical activities (SPORTS I mean)
+Start on graphic novel
+Watch Hugo with friends when it comes out this month
+Help around the house
+Tumblr meet-up with Moe, Roland and whoever else wants to go with us
+Meet up with friends from high school

12/15/11

I'm blogging here at the Cybernook, with friends Angie and Blanche (and Moe). I practically went to school today for nothing. It was supposed to be demo day but I wasn't really required to go. I spent the whole day herping and derping with friends because I didn't want to go home. I feel very lonely at home sometimes and there's nothing else to do. I'm actually done with my academic requirements and I just need to wait for my grades. Anyhow, we're going home together soon.

DEPRESSED WAFFLES!!!

TAG: Top 5

Welcome to the Top 5 Tag! Don't know what a Top 5 are? I think it's a good idea for people to have a Top 5. These are the Top 5 people you want to get with somehow(whether kissing or sex or something) and it is perfectly acceptable by your partners to allow you that opportunity if ever given the chance. Think of it as a sort of "people wishlist". (Stolen from Blanche from Angie)

Dump of Ideas 1

This is going to be my first post about my ideas related to writing my works-in-progress. I just want to dump them here for people to critique or make suggestions.

Forgive me if it's going to be a little rip-off of other things.

Demon slayer (might be a rip-off of Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, Bullet Witch or Madoka, concept or aesthetically-wise)
Two demon slayers (along with a new recruit) are faced with a new threat known as the "Seven Deadly Sisters". These demons have a common goal to reach "Ascension", a state were the demon will reach the peak of its power and cause destruction onto the world.

Demon slayers:
Alice - although a demon slayer, she has a demon sealed within her body
Natali - a conjurer who can connect to the nether realm to summon familiars and fallen demons as well
Wanda - a witch and the new recruit; an old friend of Natali, an expert of the gun-staff

Johnny
Johnny Dietrick, the richest man of Liberstein, is visited by an old adversary.

Johnny is an immortal and was once a member of the (insert shadowy brotherhood name here). He left the murderous group after making a dick move: challenging the leader in combat, he won and took a fraction of their money. He also sent him to a hidden astral prison for centuries.

Once again, this post is open to suggestions.

Bleh.

It's my last day of exams tomorrow. I have to wake up really early because it's at 8 till 11 am. Boo.

I'm reviewing with Sparky via Skype and hopefully we can pawn the exam tomorrow. It's statistics by the way.

I'm going to post something about being a twenty-year old. Really deep stuff I'm gonna put in there.

Cheers. x

Seriously?

Until now, the Church is still afraid that their God will punish them if they allow same-sex marriage here in the country and how it will change society.

Seriously, how many young women and little boys have you touched? How many hours do you spend to sit your asses down and pray to your God while a lot of people are suffering without food and shelter? How many minds have you brainwashed in order to believe that all these things are bad but they are not supposed to be? How many clueless people have you preached that suffering is greater than anything else? You people are just as bad as how you say same-sex marriage and homosexuality are sinful.

I don't know how much longer I should wait for you bastards to smarten up and open your fucking minds. If I could just point and laugh at how blind your faith is, I would. I could even make a goddamn sitcom out of it.

Lost (and worried)

Ok, I'm in the middle of making a research paper. I have almost four pages already and the minimum is five. I'm kinda lost right now because I'm trying to paraphrase a lot of stuff from the web and I get so distracted that I do not know what to write or include anymore.

The end of the term is near. Every term, I worry about failing a subject or two. I only have six units left until I become ineligible. Believe me, I was working hard but not good enough. I'm positively sure that I won't fail anything this time and I'm hoping that I would pass statistics. I'm also desperate in getting a 2.5 for both the elective subject and automata theory since I failed them before.

Ugh, one more week until the term's over. I can't wait to do shit. I hope I could start on that graphic novel that I've been planning to do since 4th year high school.

Random Bullet Your Whole Day 1

-Hanged out with Mariel, Bea and Olivia. We bought muffins from the registrar's office (that was actually a joke we made up, we bought it from a newly opened bread shop near school). I also got one for my mom, because she's a sucker for bread and pastries.
-Hanged out with Blanche, Carlos, Reese and Lorri. We ate at KFC and we were joined by Jonnah, Angie and Ysa.
-Pau and I got home early because our prof in NETWORK didn't show up (again).
-I took a nap (which I should stop doing) and had a dream that Sparky was a zombie.
